Determine your chat schedule. We suggest that you hold five chat sessions during a weeklong job fair. The chat session durations are set by can be for an hour or as long as you wish. Job seekers can set automatic notifications regarding your chat sessions.
Schedule staff to operate your booth during your chat sessions. Chats need to be moderated by your staff so job seekers can receive accurate information about working for your organization. The chats will run in real-time over the internet. Questions from job seekers will be queued one at a time.
Do I have to be available throughout the job fair?
No. The time you spend in your booth is totally up to you. When you create your booth, you will schedule chat sessions. These sessions are the times when a representative from your organization will be online to speak with job seekers. It is imperative that someone from your organization be online during these sessions. You will also need to spend time online to check your message board for questions from job seekers. We suggest you check your message board at least once a day during the job fair.
Please keep in mind that every aspect of the job fair takes place online. Therefore, you can participate in a chat session, check your message board and access your booth from any place that has internet access (as long as you have your username and password with you).

What is Macromedia Flash Player?
Macromedia Flash Player delivers fast loading, front-end Web applications, high-impact Web site user interaction, interactive online advertising, and short to medium form animation. Over 414 million online users have Flash Player installed and can immediately view Macromedia Flash content.
How do I get Macromedia Flash Player?
Download and install Flash Player from the Macromedia Flash Player Download Center
How do I fix almost all Macromedia Flash Player issues?
A version of Flash Player is pre-installed with most popular Internet browsers. Sometimes, problems with a Flash Player that's already installed can prevent your upgrading to the latest player. You can resolve almost all difficulties by taking the following steps:
Make sure you have the latest version of your Internet browser.
You can check for available versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator/Communicator at their Web sites:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer
- Netscape Navigator
Download the desired browser installer to your desktop, but don't run the installer yet.
Uninstall Flash Player.
To uninstall Flash Player, locate and delete the Flash Player plug-in or ActiveX control installed on your system. The name and location of the plug-in or ActiveX control depends on the browser and operating system you use.
Restart your computer.
If you downloaded an installer for your Web browser in Step 1, run that installer now and follow its instructions.
Finally, download and install the Flash Player from the Macromedia Flash Player Download Center.
Note: If you are using a Windows version of Internet Explorer and no dialog boxes appear when attempting to download the Flash Player, refer to Why doesn't the Flash Player download properly with Microsoft Internet Explorer 5?
Why doesn't the Macromedia Flash Player download properly with Microsoft Internet Explorer 5?
When Internet Explorer 5 on Windows encounters a request from a page to download a new ActiveX control, an option is provided to allow the user to prevent the specified ActiveX control from ever installing in the future. If this option, called Install on Demand, is selected when you encounter Flash Player ActiveX controls, future installation attempts of these controls will fail.
If you are unable to install Flash Player due to this feature, first download and run an executable that rectifies the problem and then proceed to the Macromedia Flash Player Download Center to install the Flash Player.
How can I improve the performance of Macromedia Flash Player?
Typically, a faster computer will play Flash content faster. A fast connection to the Internet will enable Flash content to be downloaded to your computer more quickly. For best performance, close all other applications other than your Web browser while viewing Flash content.
Also, increase the amount of cache allocated to your browser to 10 MB. Macintosh users should increase the amount of system memory allocated to the Web browser to at least 20 MB.
I'm trying to download the Macromedia Flash Player, but I can't. How can I get it?
An earlier version of the Flash Player was pre-installed with most earlier Internet browsers. Sometimes, damage to the Flash Player that's already installed can prevent your upgrading to the latest player. This can usually be fixed by uninstalling and then reinstalling the Macromedia Flash Player. For instructions, refer to How do I fix almost all Macromedia Flash Player issues?
Note: In some cases, it's actually the browser which is preventing the successful installation of the Flash Player and simply reinstalling the Flash Player may not work. In this case, first try reinstalling or updating the browser and then reinstalling the Flash Player.
How can permissions affect installation of the Macromedia Flash Player on Windows NT and Windows 2000?
If you don't have administrator access to your Windows NT- or Windows 2000-equipped computer, you may not be able to install the Flash Player successfully. Permissions can be tricky but, in general, you should be able to install and use the Flash Player if your system administrator gives you full access to the Macromed directory (C:Winnt\System32\Macromed\).
If this does not allow you to install and access the Flash Player, your system administrator may need to experiment with varying levels of access to determine what works.
How can I make sure my Macromedia Flash Player is working?
Visit the Macromedia Flash Player test page to make sure Flash Player is installed correctly. The Flash Player installer typically directs you to that same page after installation of the Player is complete.
Why do I have to restart Windows after installing Macromedia Flash Player in Internet Explorer?
When upgrading the Flash Player for Windows in Internet Explorer, you are advised that "You must restart your computer before the new settings will take effect." Flash Player for Windows Internet Explorer is implemented as an ActiveX control. When you install Flash Player, the ActiveX control may already be in use by the system. This situation prompts the above message.
Generally, you need to only exit and relaunch Internet Explorer. If this message persists, restart your computer.
