Apply for this exciting position to support U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) missions of safeguarding our Nation's maritime interests in the heartland, in the ports, at sea, and around the globe.Major Duties: You will serve as an Education Technician and be responsible for serving as a Team Teacher at the USCG Base Cape Cod Child Development Center, providing classroom instruction, planning learning activities, and supporting safe daily operations. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Plans and provides classroom instruction and learning activities. Oversees center operations in the absence of designated leadership. Conducts sanitation and safety checks, including playground equipment inspections. Supports compliance with Coast Guard policies and accreditation standards. Assists with staff meetings, training, and workshops. Works with management and parents to address child care concerns.
