Full Time Substitute Teacher

Greenville County School District is seeking qualified applicants for the following position: Full Time Substitute Teacher School Year: 2026-2027 Location: J.L. Mann High School Job Goal: Permanent substitutes will be responsible to the principal in carrying out the policies of the school board as they relate to the function of the school, to the classroom, and to the immediate contact of students and other school staff. Permanent substitutes will be expected to report to school at the scheduled start time for teachers each day and fulfill all duties expected of the classroom teacher throughout the day. Permanent substitute teachers will be required to carry out the expectations of the school policies and procedures as referenced in the faculty handbook as well as carry out the expectations and assignments left by the classroom teacher. Qualifications: Full-Time Substitutes are required to satisfy one of the following qualifications:• An Associate’s Degree from an accredited institution;• Possess 60 credit hours from an accredited U.S. college or university; or• Achieve the necessary scores on a state-approved assessment, such as the WIN, WorkKeys or Parapro Test.
