Summary This Flex position is with the School Age Center at the Rock Island Arsenal in Rock Island, Illinois. A cut-off of 10/06/2026 will be used to send eligible applicants to management. Referrals will be based on the preferences you indicate in the application process.Major Duties: This position provides appropriate developmental care and instruction for children and youth ranging in age from 6 weeks to 18 years in Child and Youth Services (CYS) programs. The incumbent plans and implements age and developmentally appropriate daily activities, planned experiences, interactions, and field trips. Follows health and safety standards when performing diapering, toileting, hand washing, cleaning/sanitizing/disinfecting surfaces and materials, food service, safe sleep practices, and caring for ill children and youth. Regularly operates a motor vehicle transporting fewer than 15 passengers on public roads at up to highway speeds. Ensures that passenger safety rules and regulations are followed. Completes trip tickets and other required reports.
