TRAINING TECHNICIAN (OA)

Summary About the Position: The incumbent of this position will serve as a Training Technician (Office Automation) GS-1702-07 for Defense Health Agency Headquarters located at Fort Sam Houston, TX. As an integrated health care system, the Defense Health Agency delivers healthcare services across the Department of Defense and enables combat support to the Joint Force as a strategic partner. Through a robust healthcare delivery system, and a dedicated team of inspired professionals, the Agency ensures the worldwide delivery of medical, dental, and pharmacy programs to more than 9.5 million uniformed service members, retirees, and their families, by improving health and building readiness Anytime, Anywhere-Always.Major Duties: Perform difficult and responsible work in support of the organization's automated systems training program. Prepare training agenda, handouts, charts and reports, as necessary. Prepare class rosters, graduation certificates, transcripts, relief/recycle packages and additional student status actions. Conduct formal and informal briefings for audiences, which include new staff and faculty, on topics related to customer services, training student management and organization procedures.
