Hillsborough County School District is seeking qualified applicants for the following position: Middle School Assistant Principal Location: Sligh Middle School Position Summary: The Assistant Principal 1, Middle, will assist with the instructional, administrative, and operational leadership of a middle school. Qualifications: Education - A master’s degree. Degree or formal training in Secondary Education and one of the following: Education Leadership, School Principal or Administration/Supervision required.Certificates/Licenses/Registrations - A Florida Professional Teaching Certificate in EducationLeadership, School Principal, or Administration/Supervision. If you do not presently hold a valid Florida certificate, you MUST apply for a Statement of Eligibility for Educational Leadership from the Bureau of Teacher Certification, Department of Education http://www.fldoe.org/edcert/.May be required to participate in the Assistant Principal Induction Program and/or the Preparing New Principals Program.
