Job SummaryThe Senior Manager: Atlantic Canada serves as the regional face of the Foundation in their assigned geography. This role is accountable for the successful end-to-end delivery of the Foundation聮s two signature programs聴the Summer Camp and the In-School (Classrooms) Program聴while stewarding Restaurant Owner and stakeholder relationships, representing the Foundation at regional events, and maintaining strong operational and administrative standards.聽Is this role right for you?This role requires significant regional travel and on-site presence during the summer camp season and throughout the school year. The Senior Manager: Atlantic Canada operates with a high degree of autonomy and is expected to exercise sound judgment in a dynamic, community-facing environment.聽DEPARTMENT OVERSIGHT (Subject to Change*): 路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Program Lead, Atlantic Canada路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Camp Administrator路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Property Manager路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Wellness*the regions and number of direct reports may change, given the growth of the In-Community Program.Work LocationDuring the summer camp season, typically from early June to late August, this role follows the camp schedule and is required to work on site at the Tim Horton Children聮s Camp.Outside the summer camp season, this role is based remotely in Atlantic Canada and requires regular travel throughout the region. Posting TypeInternal and External聽KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSummer Camp聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Lead all aspects of summer camp operations, including site readiness, daily program supervision, and seasonal close-out.聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure all department-specific tasks are completed prior to season start (administrative, program, wellness, property and compliance readiness).聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Lead, supervise, and troubleshoot program and site operations throughout the camp season.聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Manage scheduling, cancellations, and rescheduling of camp calendars.聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Champion program fidelity and the signature site experience 聳 including but not limited to Program Quality systems and program audits.聽聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Oversee the annual property plan for the site, ensuring the effective management, maintenance, and operational readiness of facilities, grounds, and infrastructure in alignment with organizational standards and program needs.聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Lead the Aramark relationship, ensuring strong partnership, effective service delivery, and alignment with camp operational needs.聽聽In-School (Classrooms) Program聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Oversee delivery of the In-School Program across the region, ensuring a consistent, high-quality program.聽聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Lead, supervise, and troubleshoot program and regional operations throughout the In-School Program season聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Manage classroom logistics: staff scheduling, cancellations, and rescheduling to meet reach targets.聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Forge and maintain relationships with schools and educators in the region.聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure program fidelity and integrity across all classroom delivery 聳 including Program Quality systems.聽聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Track and ensure summer camper referral and reach targets are met.聽People Leadership聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Recruit, onboard, and train program staff for both Camp and Classroom programs.聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provide ongoing mentorship, coaching, and performance support to all direct reports.聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Manage and support direct reports: Program Leads, Property Managers, Camp Admin, and seasonal camp teams.聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Lead the performance management process in the region, conducting semi-annual assessments for all staff and programs.聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Liaise with subject matter experts (SMEs) and compliance functions as needed.聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Establish and sustain a learning culture by implementing structures, frameworks, training, and professional development practices that support ongoing staff and team growth.聽Restaurant Owner & Stakeholder Engagement聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Serve as the primary regional representative at Tim Hortons events, local fundraisers, and giving campaigns (e.g., Holiday Smile Cookie, Camp Day).聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Host and coordinate Restaurant Owner visits to camp and classroom sites.聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Represent the Foundation at regional marketing meetings and regional events.聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Steward and grow relationships with key partners, including Indigenous, Metis and Inuit communities local to camp, BIPOC organizations, and strategic partners.聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Build and maintain the regional Tims Camps alumni network.聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Work collaboratively with cross-functional Foundation teams to ensure operational priorities serve high-impact youth experiences.聽聽Risk Management & Compliance聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure operationalization of and adherence to Foundation standards, policies, risk management practices, emergency procedures, and local operating procedures.聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure the site maintains camping association accreditation by meeting all required standards and successfully completing accreditation visits.聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Drive continuous improvement of risk and compliance practices across all regional programs.聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure complete and accurate documentation for camp and classroom programming (wellness records, incident reports, administrative files, etc.).聽聽Financial & Administrative Management聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Build and manage the regional budget (camp and classroom) in accordance with Foundation guidelines.聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Build and manage the camp-specific capital plan and budget in accordance with Foundation guidelines.路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Monitor ongoing expenditures and ensure spending remains within approved parameters.聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Complete and monitor financial reporting, including budget forecasts, variance analysis, and timely updates on regional spending, risks, and required corrective actions.聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintain and execute the camp and in-community programming calendars.聽聽聽Qualifications & Experience聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 University degree and/or college background in Education, Outdoor Experiential Education or related field/similar experience. Bachelor of Education degree considered an asset.聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Demonstrated experience in program management, in youth development, education and/or camp-based setting.聽 Experience in not-for-profit organizations considered an asset.路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Minimum 5 years聮 experience in a leadership role.路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Proven people leadership experience, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders, including community partners, educators, youth development professionals and donors.聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience managing budgets and financial reporting.聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience with risk management practices and regulatory compliance in program environments, including but not limited to camp, recreation, child protection and education/curriculum.路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during peak programming seasons.聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must have, or be able to obtain upon hire, current Standard First Aid/CPR-C certification.路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Access to a personal vehicle and licensed with a valid G Class Driver聮s License, or equivalent required.聽Must have an acceptable driver聮s abstract.路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to travel within designated geographic area. o聽聽 Occasional travel outside of immediate geographic region will be required.路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must have, or be able to obtain upon hire, the required level of third-party vehicle liability insurance coverage for the role.路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Are legally eligible to work in Canada.聽聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Able to provide an acceptable criminal background check or vulnerable sector check.聽聽路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Bilingualism (English/French) considered an asset.聽聽Salary Range: The annual salary range for this role is $75,000.00 聳 $85,000.00
