The role of this Group Training Manager (GTM)is to function as the Group Commander's key staff member responsible for overall oversight and management of the training and educational program. The GTM serves as training consultant to all Unit Training Managers (UTMs)and determine if quality training programs are in effect within all sections. The GTM implements and manages training programs, policies, and procedures, as directed by the Senior Enlisted ART in the Group/CSS, Group Commander, Host Wing/Base Education and Training office, and higher headquarters. Plans, organizes, leads and controls the Group and subordinate unit training program to ensure combat readiness. Plans, organizes, leads and controls the Developmental Education Board and Reserve School Selection Board process for the Group's and subordinate unit's officers on an annual basis. Serves as focal point for all Career Development Course (CDC) waivers, reenrollment requests and two-time CDC failures for the Group and subordinate units. Administers Education, Training and Distance Learning Programs. Plans, organizes, and coordinates operations of the Advance Distributed Learning, and multimedia education and training programs. Responsible for overall management of OJT program for the Group and oversight of subordinate unit's OJT program. Monitors the overall accuracy and reliability of all data entered into and maintained in Personnel Data System (PDS). Manages the development of education and training instructional products
