Summary The typical seasonal periods are as follows, but can be variable due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding: Yellowstone National Park: February to May Glen Canyon National Recreation Area: February to August Grand Canyon National Park: March to September Open to the first 150 applicants or until 09/21/2026 whichever comes first. Serves as a primary instructor for the park's curriculum based residential program and other education/youth work programs. Works closely with schools, teachers, and students. Directs and coordinates all aspects of the day-to-day operations and activities. Plans, coordinates, and conducts formal education outreach at schools and community and educational events. Schedules on and offsite educational and outreach presentations for school groups. Supports resource-based education and community outreach efforts. The incumbent will support the development of curriculum-based programming for students, including program outlines, teacher guides, evaluation tools, and distance learning resources. Assists with leading a team of seasonals, interns, and volunteers.
