Idaho Falls School District 91 invites applications for the following position: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Date Available: Immediately Location: District Wide Job Goals: To support the delivery of School District 91's written, taught, tested and reported curriculum and contribute to maximizing student achievement.To support Speech and Language Pathologists in providing service delivery for students identified with speech or language impairments so that the student may benefit from a free and appropriate public education. Support SLP in administrative duties. Qualifications: A. An associate's degree in a SLPA program OR a bachelor's degree in a speech language pathology or communication disorders programB. Successful completion of a minimum of one hundred (100) hours of supervised field work experience or its clinical experience equivalentC. Demonstration of competency in the skills required of an SLPAD. Apply and receive the Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licensers (IBOL) SLPA licensure prior to beginning employment.E. Valid Idaho driver's license.F. Must have own transportation. Mileage will be reimbursed by the district.G. Ability to work with students, staff, parents, and the public.H. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
