Summary Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! Serving Those Who ServeMajor Duties: What to Expect Assigned to a SAC and is expected to work with the SAC Director with minimum supervision toward the overall objectives of administering the program. Major duties and responsibilities include program management, budgeting and financial management, personnel management, program operations, interactions and relationships, and compliance. Assists with the development and supervision of a developmentally appropriate SAC program that promotes the social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth of children and youth in the age categories served. Assists in providing program oversight and accountability for the performance of employees and the safety of children in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD), United States Marine Corps (USMC), and local policies and standards. Supervises employees. Assists in overseeing the collection, accurate accounting and reporting of funds received from patrons. Ensures compliance with all regulations governing the use of appropriated and nonappropriated funds. Adheres to authorized methods of acquisition. In the absence of the Director, assumes responsibilities and performs duties and requirements of the position under supervision of CYP Administrator with oversight. Supervises employees to include assigning and distributing work, coaching, counseling, tutoring, and mentoring employees; approving and disapproving leave, recommending and completing personnel actions, completing performance reviews and signing timecards, training employees. Duties may involve working both indoors and outdoors with occasional indoor and outdoor field trips. Classrooms and office areas are adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated. May work an uncommon tour of duty to include evenings and weekends to accommodate varying program operating schedules. Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs. independently and over 45 lbs. with assistance. Performs other related duties as assigned.
