Elementary ESL Teacher

Rutherford County Schools are seeking qualified applicants for the following: Elementary ESL Teacher School Year: 2026-2027 Location: Browns Chapel Elementary School Description: The ESL teacher will have an understanding of the development, academic, social and emotional needs of the English language learner.• The ESL teacher will have knowledge and understanding of second language acquisition and appropriate content area curriculum and use a wide array of teaching methods, strategies and techniques for the advancement of studentlearning.• The ESL teacher will, under the direction and supervision of the ESL Coordinator and Principal, maintain a positive attitude, exhibit a spirit of cooperation, participate in shared decision-making and model life-long learning through professional growth opportunities.• The ESL teacher will demonstrate professionalism at all times, thus contributing to the development of a positive school culture. Qualifications: Holds a valid Tennessee teacher license with endorsement in ESL.
