Ministikwan Lake Cree Nation School invites applicants for the 2026-2027 school year for a Grade 7 Teacher.• Be a certified teacher• Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited institution• Be eligible for a Saskatchewan Professional A or Provisional Professional A teaching certificate• Follow the prescribed curriculum of the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education• Be committed to completing the school year• Be willing to include student's family and community members in classroom activities• Have respect for and a working knowledge of Canada's First Nations and be willing to implement First Nations Culture, Values and History into the curriculum• Have high standards and expectations for academic achievement, especially in the areas of literacy and numeracy• Have excellent classroom management skills and ability in utilizing positive classroom and behaviour management strategies; and• Accommodate and include special needs children by adjusting teaching styles and curriculum as required for inclusion.  Applications will be received until suitable candidates are found.For more information on the school or community please contact Principal Glenda Crookedneck at (306) 837-4868. Mail, fax or e-mail applications with resume, credentials, three professional references and a current (within the last six months) Criminal Record Check inclusive of the Vulnerable Sector Check to glenda.crookedneck@mltc.ca
