OPASKWAYAK EDUCATION SERVICES INC.REQUIRES OLCIn/External Job PostingHealthy Eating Prep Cook - Full Time Permanent Purpose of Job:We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Healthy Eating Prep Cook to properly and safely plan, prepare, and serve meals funded through the school food program for the students of Oscar Lathlin Collegiate. Qualifications:• Diploma – Grade 12 or equivalent.• Valid Food Safe Level 1 Certificate.• WHMIS certification.• Knowledge of OCN/OES Financial software (Sage Intacct, and ADP Work Force Now). Duties & Responsibilities:• Plan, prepare, and serve meals that meet proper nutritional requirements recommended by Canada’s Food Guide.• Properly handle and store food as per food handling, sanitation, and work safety protocols.• Plan weekly menus and purchase groceries through Purchase Orders and Cheque Requisitions on Sage Intacct.• Ensure cleanliness of all tools and equipment used in food preparation, following public health policy regarding cleanliness.• Orientate and supervise staff assigned to help with cooking and serving for feasts and celebrations.• Other duties as assigned per job scope. Deadline: August 21, 2026 @ 4:30 p.m.
