The schedule of this position will be 0.500-FTE in the afternoon on Days 1, 3, 5.   We are seeking a qualified teacher who must possess:A Manitoba Teacher's Certificate, or eligibility for teacher certification in the Province of Manitoba.A strong academic background.Demonstrated ability to teach and differentiate instruction in the Grade 8 classroom.Knowledge and understanding of teaching literacy through the curriculum, and a strong background in language development.Knowledge and understanding of inclusion of technology in learning processes.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as an effective member of a team in delivering a quality program.Preference will be given to candidates who possess:Previous successful middle years teaching experience.Experience in the philosophy of a multi-age classroom as it relates to curriculum planning and implementation, instructional diversity, and classroom learning environment.**Please click HERE for important interview information.
