Summary This position is located at Fort Riley, KS. As an added employee incentive, the Department of Defense (DoD) granted approval to extend temporary limited commissary privileges (excluding the purchase of tobacco or alcohol products) to CYS employees. This temporary approval expires 31 December 2026. This announcement may be used to fill positions across the CYS program in different facilities and age groups. Referrals will be based on the preferences you indicate in the application process.Major Duties: Ensure CDC, SAC, and Youth Services programs maintain high standards. Oversee classroom environments, equipment, scheduling, curriculum, inclusion, and safety protocols to minimize abuse risks. Design and run classroom and hands-on training. Evaluate staff and provider progress quarterly. Develop parent education resources and advocate for proper development practices to parents and leadership. Help secure and maintain DoD certification and national accreditation. Lead the training and program portions of inspections, analyze performance scores, and draft corrective plans with management. Ensures accurate prompt customer service Manages program to budget. Conducts written analyses of budget variances, and prepares justification for funding of program resource requirements. Performs other duties as assigned.
