Phys Ed/GYM Teacher -LITTLE PINEChief Little Pine School is a K5 to Grade 12 school operated on the Little Pine First Nation, located about 79 km west of North Battleford, SK.  Chief Little Pine School is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic individual to fill the full-time position of Phys Ed/GYM Teacher. Chief Little Pine School is proud to provide students with a safe learning environment which encourages students to spread their wings and seek out their dreams.  Our students are encouraged to embrace their culture and traditional values as they grow into young men and women. Duties and Responsibilities:·        Nurture, support and guide young learners·        Prepare engaging lessons and interactive learning activities/materials·        Conduct formal and informal assessment of students·        Incorporate appropriate technology and media in lesson planning·        Facilitate learning activities both within the classroom setting and outdoors·        Participate in co-curricular school activities·        Promote and maintain high standards of behaviour, respect and safety within the classroom·        Support families with open, ongoing communication·        Prepare lesson plans with clear objectives that follow SK curriculum standardsPosition Qualifications:·        Possess or be in application of a valid SK Teaching Certificate·        Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in education·        Models a strong work ethic as well as High Standards of commitment·        Must have an awareness and appreciation of Native culture·        Fosters school mission, values and sense of community through student-centered decisions·        Effectively communicates with staff, parents and students·        Maintains professionalism through all school interactions and activities·        Values continual growth and development of school programs and curriculumDeadline for applications: Open Until Filled
