Practical and Applied Arts Teacher

Chief Sabitawasis School is seeking applications for a Practical and Applied Arts teacher for the 2026 - 2027 school year. The position is to teach high school Welding, Mechanics, Autobody and small motor repair for Grades 8 to 12 students. Chief Sabitawasis School is a Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12 school with approximately 245 students currently. It also houses the Headstart and Daycare programs in the school. The current staffing component consists of 48 professional, paraprofessional and support staff. We offer a full range pf programming focussing on our Nakawa language, heritage, culture and traditions. The school is located in Central Saskatchewan near the community of Wadena. Our school is a new facility built 6 years ago and is the pride and joy of our Leadership, community, staff and students. Chief Sabitawasis is a "Leader In Me" school focussing on developing leadership skills among our students and staff. This is a school which demonstrates cohesion and teamwork within all its activities and functionality.
