Drivers may be assigned to city and/or country routes.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAre established by the Supervisor of Transportation within the parameters of the job profile. Required QualificationsMust hold valid Class 5 Driver's License.Class 2 Driver's License, or willingness to obtain.School Bus Operator's Certificate, with Defensive Driving training, or willingness to obtain.WHMIS training/certification.Demonstrated ability to follow standardized work methods and processes.Ability to interact with service dogs while transporting students, if required.Demonstrated time management and computer/word processing skills.Preferred QualificationsFirst Aid/CPR Certification.Non-Violent Crisis Intervention.Mechanical knowledge.MAINTENANCE WORKER III    4.00 HOURSPurpose of PositionThe Maintenance III position works with the Maintenance team and assists with, but not limited to, activities in one or more of the following areas: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, utility, painting, inspections and grounds maintenance.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAre established by the Supervisor of Facilities within the parameters of the job profile.Required QualificationsSpecific maintenance/technical knowledge, including the ability to assemble, repair, renovate, maintain, and install equipment and materials.Effective basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.Effective moderate interpersonal and communication skills. Preferred QualificationsWHMIS training/certification.Asbestos removal training/knowledge.Your cover letter must clearly indicate how you meet the required qualifications. If unable to apply on-line, please click here for the Support Staff Application form. For assistance with your application or to learn more about the position requirements and training, please visit the BSD Transportation Office, 800 Richmond Avenue East, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. (no appointment necessary) or call 204-729-3975. This is a repost and previous applicants do not need to reapply.Salary as per COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT.
