Posting#: S2608013(S)Posting Date: 06 Aug 2026Posting Close Date: 13 Aug 2026 12:00 PM (CDT)Category: CustodialType: PERMANENT CONTRACTDescription: Head CustodianLocation: Custodial (Auth Loc)Start Date: 31 Aug 2026End Date: ContinuousFTE/Hours: 40.00 per week Location:  King George School Purpose of PositionThe Head Custodian is responsible for overseeing and providing cleaning and maintenance services to Brandon School Division facilities. Duties and ResponsibilitiesAre established by the Supervisor of Custodial Services within the parameters of the job profile. Required QualificationsRequires demonstrated specific knowledge including the ability to maintain clean and sanitary facilities through the use of cleaning skills and tools. Demonstrated basic knowledge of carpentry, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.Class 5 Driver's Licence.WHMIS training/certification.Effective basic computer skills.Effective basic reading, writing and mathematical skills.Effective moderate interpersonal and communication skills. Preferred QualificationsCommercial cleaning skills. Knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health regulations.First Aid, CPR Certification.Non-Violent Crisis Intervention.Your cover letter must clearly indicate how you meet the required qualifications.Permanent CUPE employees presently on staff will be given early consideration, in accordance with COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT.Salary as per COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT.
