The community population is about 1200 people, with many  support systems in place. There is a northern store, nursing station, and a police station.The student population is about 400 students from kindergarten to grade 12. There are 30  staff always ready to help each other and give support to those who are new in the  community. The community offers many activities. The schools provide many extra- curricular activities to support social growth and learning for students.Sineonokway Education Authority invites applications for the following positions at Chief Simeon McKay Education Center and Kasabonika Lake High School: TEACHING POSITION FOR 2025-2026 ACADEMIC YEAR: Tech Shop Teacher This position will need a critical teacher who will inspire and learn with the children at this level. Most of these students will need guidance and support as they start to mature and explore socially and physical, the world around them.
