Summary About the Position: This is a Permanent, Full Time 0301 Teacher (Digital Media Communications Grade 6-12) position for Patch Middle School, located in Stuttgart, Germany. Federal employees in Stuttgart, Germany are currently entitled to receive a 42% Post Allowance (COLA) in addition to the base salary. Department of War Education Activity (DoWEA), as one of only two Federally-operated school systems, is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and managing prekindergarten through 12th grade educational programs on behalf of the Department of War (DoW). DoWEA is globally positioned, operating 160 accredited schools in 8 districts located in 11 foreign countries, 7 states, Guam, and Puerto Rico. Plan and organize standards-based lessons to ensure in-depth learning and meet curriculum goals. Instruct students using a variety of teaching methods adapted for their differentiated needs. Establish a positive learning environment with clear expectations for student success and behavior. Support, counsel, and motivate individual students to meet or exceed grade-level standards. Collaborate with parents and educators to meet the individualized learning requirements of each student. Maintain accurate individual and class records using the school information system.
