Summary The primary purpose of this position is to lead child development program assistants at entry level through target levels and provide guidance in conducting daily activities with children, room arrangements and enhancements, guidance techniques, interaction with children, meal service, and to ensure appropriate development care and instruction for children in assigned area of responsibility is provided in the child development program. Communicates with parents on a regular basis. Conducts and documents an initial parent conference for all children within their first 60 days of attendance. Develops and implements daily lesson plans. Develops and submits weekly lesson plans to the Training and Curriculum Specialist for approval not later than one week prior to implementation date. Follows established procedures for preventing, treating and reporting all child injury, illness and/or abuse.
