Position also serves as Base Training Manager in support of the military enlisted on-the-job training (OJT) program; as the single point of contact responsible for planning, administering, developing, and evaluating the base training program for all enlisted personnel assigned or attached to Kirtland AFB, New Mexico. Serves as liaison between the installation and unit commanders and Headquarters Air Force Global Strike Command (HQ AFGSC) regarding enlisted upgrade training and ancillary training. DUTIES: 1. Serves as the Base Training Manager, ensuring that Unit Training Managers (UTMs) and Additional Duty Training Managers (ADUTMs) are qualified in and knowledgeable of their responsibilities. 2. Advises UTMs/ ADUTMs, commanders, 1st Sergeants and Civilian Training offices ensuring that OJT and ancillary training programs are in compliance with local policies, procedures, and guidelines geared specifically towards the accomplishment of training programs. 3. Manages base-level training (Military OJT): Advises and assists base personnel on proper policies and procedures, corrective actions, and cost-effective training methods to ensure that training needs are met. 4. Serves as the base's training advisor and performs Staff Assistance Visits (SA Vs). 5. Gathers and compiles Education and Training data and performs miscellaneous duties.
