Rutherford County Schools are seeking qualified applicants for the following: Middle School Special Education Teacher Location: Rocky Fork Middle School Description: Able to write and implement all components of an IEP (Individual Education Plan)Must be able to use a variety of reading and math strategies to meet the needs of exceptional studentsMust have strong organizational skills, able to schedule teaching, assessments, IEP meetings, and professional collaboration to meet all local, state, and federal requirements for special needs studentsMust be a strong communicator with parents and able to hold structured IEP meetings to meet all requirementsMust be a critical thinker, team player, collaborator, and able to use students' academic performance data to make accurate decisions to meet students needsMust maintain regular attendanceMust be able to interact with studentsEndorsement codes: 066, 067, 069, 086, 105, 144, 145, 460 and 461
