Middle School Spanish LA Teacher

Waukegan Community Unit School District 60 is seeking qualified applicants for the following position: Middle School Spanish Language Arts Teacher Location: John R. Lewis Middle School Description: The Classroom Teacher will be directly responsible to the building principal for all matters pertaining to the operation of the school plan, in-building administrative and personnel procedures, and general or district-wide policies. He/she will be indirectly responsible to the Director of Secondary Education for all matters pertaining to curriculum, instructional methods, assessment and materials. Qualifications & Endorsements: Must have valid Illinois Professional Educators License. ESL certification is a plus. Teaching experience (including student teaching and internship) at the identified grade level or in a Dual Language classroom within the last five years is preferred. Teaching experience and proficiency in English and the native language of students is preferred. Endorsements: ELA, Grade 6-9, Middle School, and Bilingual (Spanish) or TBE License.
