Summary About the Position: This position is located at: Department of War Education Activity, DoWEA Pacific South District. Kadena High School, Kadena AB Okinawa, Japan. This is an AIR FORCE OFFICER JROTC position. Department of War Education Activity (DoWEA), as one of only two Federally-operated school systems, is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and managing prekindergarten through 12th grade educational programs on behalf of the Department of War (DoW). DoWEA is globally positioned, operating 160 accredited schools in 8 districts located in 11 foreign countries, 7 states, Guam, and Puerto Rico. Modify Teaching methods or materials. Maintain individual and class records. Counsel and motivate students to meet standards. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and guardians. Evaluate and develop educational materials. Supervise students outside activities.
