Land-Based Education Curriculum DeveloperStanley Mission Education - Keethanow Elementary School & Rhoda Hardlotte Memorial Keethanow High SchoolStanley Mission, SKStanley Mission is a thriving Woodland Cree community on the shores of the Churchill River. The community has two grocery stores, gas bars, post office, restaurant, churches and medical clinic. Views of the river and historic Holy Trinity Anglican Church add to the beauty and history of the community. The scenic environment surrounding Stanley Mission offers a variety of outdoor recreational activities and has an indoor hockey arena, baseball diamond and Youth Community Centre with pool tables and a bowling alley. Stanley Mission is just north of La Ronge and accessibly by year all year round provincial road.  Keethanow Elementary School provides educational programming for students in Pre-Kindergarten - Grade 6, in a modern, well-equipped facility with an enrolment of approximately 330 students and 44 Staff.Rhoda Hardlotte Memorial Keethanow High School provides educational programming for students in Grade 7 to Grade 12, in a modern, well equipped facility with enrolment of approximately 300 students and 30 Staff.Under the direction of the Director of Education, the Land-Based Curriculum Developer will create educational programs that integrate traditional, meaningful, and relevant Woodland Cree content, into various subject areas, as determined by the community and Stanley Mission Education. This role involves researching, designing, and implementing curricula that connect learners to the traditional lands of the Woodland Cree, focusing on sustainability, traditional skills, and intergenerational knowledge transfer.This is a continuing, full-time position for the 2026-2027 School Year. The successful candidate must be eligible for Saskatchewan teaching certification. Salary is according to the provincial salary grid plus a benefits package that includes subsidized housing and a northern living allowance.
