Middle School Phys Ed Teacher

Hillsborough County School District is seeking qualified applicants for the following position: Middle School Physical Education Teacher Location: Marshall Middle Magnet School Position Summary: The Physical Education and/or Dance Education Teacher is responsible for the instruction of the specified content area in a classroom setting within grade levels K-12. Qualifications: Education: A bachelor's degree. A degree or formal training in the content area is preferred.Certificates/Licenses/Registrations: Florida Professional Educator Certificate in Physical Education or Dance Education is preferred. Eligibility for a Florida Temporary Certificate in the content area is required.Language Skills: Reads, analyzes, and interprets all kinds of documents. Responds to inquiries or complaints from employees, regulatory agencies, or the community. Writes speeches and effectively presents them to managers, the public, and the school board.Mathematical Skills: Works with math concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of geometry and trigonometry. Applies concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.Reasoning Ability: Solves practical problems and deals with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
