Hillsborough County School District is seeking qualified applicants for the following position: Kindergarten Teacher Location: Collins PK-8 Position Summary: The Elementary Teacher is responsible for the instruction of designated content area(s)/course(s) in a classroom setting within an elementary school. Qualifications: Certificates/Licenses/Registrations: Florida Professional Educator Certificate in ElementaryLanguage Skills: Reads, analyzes, and interprets all kinds of documents. Responds to inquiries or complaints from employees, regulatory agencies, or the community. Writes speeches and effectively presents them to managers, the public, and the school board.Mathematical Skills: Works with math concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of geometry and trigonometry. Applies concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.Reasoning Ability: Solves practical problems and deals with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interprets a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
