High School Online Teacher

Cobb County School District is seeking qualified applicants for the following position(s): High School Online Teacher Start Date: 07/27/2026 Location: Cobb Virtual Academy Primary Function: To develop in each pupil an understanding of the relationship of good body function and exercise to motivate each pupil to cultivate physical fitness, hygienic habits, and good social and emotional adjustment; discover and develop talents of pupils in physical achievement, cardiovascular endurance, strength, skill, agility, poise, and coordination in individual, dual, and team physical activities and sports, in accordance with each pupil's ability. Requirements: 1. Educational Level: Bachelor's Degree2. Certification/License Required: Valid Georgia Teaching Certificate3. Experience: None4. Physical Activities: Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities5. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Written and oral communication; instructional strategies that connect the curriculum to the learner; student management; ability to translate content knowledge to the online environment The Board of Education and the Superintendent may accept alternatives to some of the above requirements.
