Cobb County School District is seeking qualified applicants for the following position(s): Elementary Gifted Teacher Start Date: 07/20/2026 Location: Big Shanty Elementary School Primary Function: To provide an appropriate educational program for eligible exceptional learners. Requirements: 1. Educational Level: Bachelor's Degree2. Certification/License Required: Valid Georgia Teaching Certificate; Gifted-In Field and Subject Area Certification3. Experience: None4. Physical Activities: Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities5. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Written and oral communication; instructional strategies that connect the curriculum to the learners; student management The Board of Education and the Superintendent may accept alternatives to some of the above requirements.
