The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a squadron scheduling specialist with responsibiity for mid-range scheduling, operational reports, schedule changes and technical guidance in support of student and instructor pilots. Position operates in a high tempo environment, typically scheduling 100-120 aircraft sorties and 40-50 simulator missions per day. Plans, coordinates, and schedules unprogrammed events. Coordinates with affected functions to support routine or short notice requests for classrooms and/or instructors; such as periodic Instrument Refresher Course (IRC) requirements, Red Carpet events, and Senior National Representative (SNR) day activities. Represents the section with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Uses varied and advanced functions of office automation software to create, format, modify, edit, and print a variety of documents and support office operations.
