Inclusive Education Teacher/Coordinator required for 2026-2027Purpose of the Role:The Inclusive Education Teacher/Coordinator will oversee the Inclusive Education Department. This person will be responsible for working with teachers to ensure that the learning needs of identified students in all classrooms are supported. Main Duties:To assist teachers in the provision of resources and strategies to enable them to work effectively with students who have identified learning needsTo work with Education Assistants in supporting individual students and teachersTo work closely with Jordan's Principle to identify students with specialized learning needs, fill out forms, budgets, Educational Assistant ReportsTo work closely with all service providers (Speech Pathologist/Assistant, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, Behavioral Specialist)To set goals/objectives for students with learning needs as part of the Individual Program Plans (IPPs); responsible for student records/CUM files/IPPs.To conduct teacher/parent interviews to discuss how individual student's learning needs are best addressedReporting to Indigenous Services Canada-High Cost Special NeedsOther dutes as assigned by the principalMust possess excellent computer, written & communication skillsQualifications:Valid Alberta Teacher CertificateClean Criminal Record & Child Welfare ChecksPlease forward cover letter & resume to Elaine Boucher, Principal, Amisk Community School elaine.boucher@tcef.ca  Telephone: 780-623-4561
