Summary This position is located at Defense Logistics Agency's Columbus, OH location with the Child and Youth Services Division. Eligibility for both the Sign on and Retention incentive will be applicable to newly hired individuals and rehired individuals (i.e., one being reinstated or re-employed after a break in service of at least 1 year) in regular full time or part time positions. Sign on bonus for position: $1000.00 initial sign on Sign on Bonuses Require the incumbent to complete their training. Once employed for 30 days, sign on bonuses are paid. Retention Bonus: $1500.00 Incumbent must be employed for 12 months. Retention bonuses are paid in quarterly increments following 12-month employment period. Requires successful completion of Virtual Lab School (VLS) training track (15 modules). Referral Bonus: $250 for existing employee that refers selectee - available to all employees once on board (up to $1000 annually). Actively supervises and accounts for whereabouts and safety of children and youth during daily routines, indoor and outdoor activities, on field trips, outings, and special events. Assists in implementing planned, developmentally appropriate activities, schedules, and routines for children/youth using prepared curriculum, activity plans, and materials which includes group and individual activities. Helps arrange for or serve appropriate snacks or meals. Identifies and responds to emergency situations including evacuations, child/youth illness, and physical and emotional needs.
