Florence Unified School District #1 is seeking qualified applicants for the following position: Middle School Math Teacher Location: San Tan Mountain Middle School Date Available: 07/13/2026 Position Purpose:As a secondary Mathematics Teacher covering grades 7 to 12 in the Florence Unified School District, you will have the unique opportunity to nurture students' mathematical growth across a range of levels and topics. Your responsibilities will include designing comprehensive and engaging lessons, fostering critical thinking, promoting problem-solving skills, and helping students develop a solid foundation in various branches of mathematics. Your role contributes to the overarching mission of delivering exceptional education by equipping students with the mathematical proficiency needed for academic success and future pursuits. Master's Degree (MA) preferred.Proven experience in teaching high school Mathematics, with a deep understanding of math concepts, and critical analysis.Effective classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging and intellectually stimulating learning environment.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
