Summary This position is located in the National Assessment Governing Board (NAGB), in Washington, DC. The National Assessment Governing Board (NAGB) sets policy for the National Assessment of Education Progress (NAEP). As an EDUCATION POLICY ANALYST, AD-1701-00 equivalent GS-15, you will be responsible for: o Managing the Board's formulation of policy guidance to the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) for implementing innovations to the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP). o Assisting in implementing a broad strategy to engage with key NAEP stakeholders to inform the development and implementation of policy guidance on innovations. o Engaging with a range of experts in assessment design and development, assessment technology and artificial intelligence to evaluate innovative ideas for NAEP. o Facilitating implementation of Board policy guidance through influence, collaboration, and creativity. o Supporting the review of proposed and pending legislation and budget recommendations relevant to NAEP innovation.
