Child Development and School Age Facility operating hours are generally Mon-Fri 0600 -1800 Patch Youth Center facility hours are generally Mon-Thurs, 1430-2000 and Friday, 1430-2200 Panzer Youth Center hours are generally Mon-Friday, 1430-1800 Robinson Youth Center hours are generally Mon-Friday, 1430-1800 Based on the type of CYS program you may be scheduled to work anytime between the opening hours of the facility. CYS facilities hours are subject to change during school out days, school vacations, special openings (Parents Night/Day out/Month of Military Child/4th of July Celebration); field trips, special events and for staff development/meetings. Tour of duty may include split shift between the hours of 0545am - 0930am and 1300pm - 1800pm. This announcement may be used to fill additional vacancies throughout the program. Management has the right to assign staff to locations as mission requires.Major Duties: Provides appropriate developmental care and instruction for children and youth, ranging in age from 6 weeks to 18 years in Child and Youth Services (CYS) programs. Actively supervises and accounts for whereabouts and safety of children and youth during daily routines, indoor and outdoor activities, on field trips, outings, and special events. Assists in implementing planned, developmentally appropriate activities, schedules, and routines for children/youth using prepared curriculum, activity plans, and materials which includes group and individual activities. Helps arrange for or serve appropriate snacks or meals. Identifies and responds to emergency situations including evacuations, child/youth illness, and physical and emotional needs.
