CTE-Plumber Instructor

Granite School District is seeking qualified applicants for the following position: CTE-Plumber Instructor Location: Granite Technical Institute Date Available: 08/03/2026 Required Certification: Requires one of the following:A valid Professional Educator License issued by the Utah State Board of Education with a Secondary or CTE License Area of Concentration with a plumbing endorsement;A valid Associate Educator License issued by the Utah State Board of Education with a Secondary or CTE License Area of Concentration with a plumbing endorsement;Equivalent licenses and endorsements in another state;One of the following certifications: DOPL P200: General Plumbing Contractor License or DOPL P201: Residential Plumbing Contractor License; and a general contractor's license within one year of hire.Three years industry experience in plumbing or a related field and a commitment to obtain a DOPL P200: General Plumbing Contractor License or DOPL P201: Residential Plumbing Contractor License and a R100 General Contractor's license within one year of hire. The following qualifications are preferred:willingness to run a CTSO (Skills USA) Required Documentation: In and out-of-state applicants must upload a copy of their current state license with their application in order to be considered.If approved for an Associate License, please upload your AEL eligibility letter in lieu of a full teaching licenseIf qualifying through an industry certification, the applicant should upload a current certificate(s).If qualifying by industry experience, the applicant should list related work experience on the application and upload a resume in lieu of a teaching license where applicable experience is listed (see above requirements). Prior to hire an applicant will need to submit a letter from a supervisor on company letterhead indicating duties, responsibilities, and dates of employment.
