Elementary School Counsellor - Burntwood School

The ideal candidate will have: - Bachelor of Education Degree with a Post Baccalaureate in Counselling or a Masters in Counselling and/or Bachelor of Social Work.- A Manitoba Teacher's Certificate or eligibility for teacher certification in the Province of Manitoba.- Must have a minimum of 2 years demonstrated counselling experience.- The ability to plan and deliver a comprehensive counselling program that promotes the educational, academic, career, personal and social development of all students within the school setting.- Promote student success through leadership, advocacy and collaborative and consultative environment.- Excellent time management skills.- Ability to build program with a northern perspective.- A commitment to culturally proficient education.- A knowledge and sensitivity to the traditions of students with diverse abilities and backgrounds.
