Junior School Teacher (2) Permanent Commencing August 31, 2026 (1) Contract September 30, 2026 - October 12, 2027 For more than 155 years, The Bishop Strachan School has empowered talented girls to grow into fearless women, equipped with intellectual curiosity, adaptability, and compassion to navigate the world. We inspire our students to discover their purpose, build confidence, and express themselves with a strong, independent voice.  The Junior School (JK - Grade 6) is a place to explore, grow, discover, collaborate, create and have lots of fun. It is the first step in the lifetime adventure of learning. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach, we see our students as individuals who are curious about the world around them and have the aptitude and intellect to learn. We use fundamental concepts from the Ontario curriculum to build a strong foundation in essential academic skills, such as math, literacy and research, while learning and discovering as a group. We are looking for two Full-Time Permanent and One Full-Time Contract Junior School Teacher (Jk - Grade 6) who have experience and/or open to co-teaching, collaborative planning, documentation, and facilitating and assessing a challenging, dynamic program for young children. Our JS Teachers collaborate with specialists and lead teachers on an on-going basis to create challenging, inquiry-based learning experiences. In addition, you will be involved with co-curricular activities, including athletics.
