As a Learning Coach in Nunavut, you will support instructional practice and student learning through relationships grounded in community. The Learning Coach is a trusted guide, facilitator, and co-learner who models and supports the use of effective, evidence-based instructional practices in literacy. Required QualificationsEducation & Certification Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree Minimum of three (3) years of classroom teaching experience Experience teaching in a bilingual or ESL environment Valid teaching certificate recognized by, or eligible for certification in Nunavut (International educated teachers who do not hold a Canadian teaching certificate must have their credentials evaluated through Pathways to Teach Canada) Desired QualificationsCandidates are not expected to meet every qualification; relevant experience and a commitment to community-centred education are valued.
