St Vrain Valley School District is accepting applications for the following position(s): STEM Teacher/Leadership Coordinator School Year: 2026-2027 Location: Eagle Crest Elementary School Summary: The Eagle Crest STEM Teacher/Leadership Focus Coordinator is responsible for leading, supporting, andadvancing STEM education as well as coordinating activities, student groups, and leadership opportunities in service of ourschoolwide Leadership focus. This role involves collaborating with teachers and administrators, managing resources, supporting technology integration, organizing events, and promoting a strong culture across the school. Education, Licenses & Experience: ? Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.? Three or more years of successful classroom teaching experience is preferred.? Background in STEM related fields or teaching experience.? Valid Colorado Teaching Certificate in education with endorsement in area of assignment (STEM/CTE preferred).? U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Employment Eligibility Verification (Form I-9)? Criminal background check required for hire. Technical, Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: ? Excellent interpersonal relations skills and strong oral and written communication skills.? Strong knowledge in the areas of instruction, classroom management and discipline, positive behavior support and? effective instructional strategies.? Oral and written communication skills.? English language skills.? Bilingual skills preferred.? Personal computer and keyboarding skills.? Customer service and public relations skills.? Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.? Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job.? Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks with frequent interruptions.? Ability to work with students with diverse backgrounds and abilities.? Ability to promote and follow Board of Education policies, Superintendent policies and building and department procedures.? Ability to communicate, interact and work effectively and cooperatively with people from diverse ethnic andeducational backgrounds.? Ability to recognize the importance of safety in the workplace, follow safety rules, practice safe work habits, utilize appropriatesafety equipment and report unsafe conditions to the appropriate administrator.? Ability and willingness to adhere to attendance requirements and to follow district procedures for absence reporting. Regularattendance is an essential function of the position and necessary for the efficient operation of the business. Employees areexpected to be on time and punctual for work, conforming to established work hours. It is recognized that there are times whena person must be absent due to illness or other reasons.
