Prince William County Public Schools is inviting applications for the following position: Dean of Students School Year: 2026-2027 Location: Gainesville High School Job Summary: The Dean of Students is responsible for supporting the execution and management of all practices and procedures related to the Code of Behavior to foster a positive school culture that promotes student growth and development. This role involves working closely with students, teachers, families and the administrative team to implement discipline guidelines and procedures. The Dean of Students is the building expert on code of behavior, a key member of the student support team and collaborates with various stakeholders to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment. Required Qualifications: Minimum -Bachelor's Degree Earned a Pupil Personnel or Postgraduate Professional License Preferred -Master's DegreeEducation Leadership from an accredited university program Certifications: Required: Virginia teaching certification; Admin & Supervision PreK-12 endorsement , or passing score on SLLA if applying within 6 credit hours of program completion.If a current VA Postgraduate Professional License is not currently held, the candidate must hold a reciprocal out-of-state certification with a comparable Administration and Supervision PreK-12 endorsement.
