High School Assistant Principal-Pool

Prince William County Public Schools is inviting applications for the following position: High School Assistant Principal-Pool PWCS utilizes an eligibility pool model to fill specific school administrative vacancies when they occur. This posting provides an applicant pool for consideration into the PWCS administrative eligibility pool. Location: TBD Job Summary: This position may assist the principal in providing administrative and instructional leadership within a generally autonomous elementary school building for the maximum educational nurture of all students. This position may include coordination of all personnel connected with the school and school system. This position may assist in supervising and monitoring student needs and enforcing the “Code of Behavior.” The position may assist in supervising after-school and evening activities. Education or Equivalency Requirements: Master's DegreeEarned a Pupil Personnel or Postgraduate Professional License Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledgeable of the instructional process, public relations, school finance, school law, personnel management, administration, supervision, curriculum and educational processes.Demonstrate leadership qualities and personal characteristics necessary to work effectively with students, teachers and parents
