Seasonal Education Technician

Summary Incumbents will serve as Education Technicians, providing education and community outreach activities. These positions may be filled for a seasonal period, up to 1560 hours, but can vary due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding. Major Duties: Prepares and presents curriculum-based educational programs both virtually and in person, and develops and presents youth programs for all levels of students. Uses a variety of presentation techniques and education philosophy and methods. Presents formal interpretive programs, conducts informal roving visitor contacts, staffs the visitor center, and assists with the junior ranger program.
