 NORTHERN NISHNAWBE EDUCATION COUNCIL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY PFFNHS HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS         Sioux Lookout, Ontario   Pelican Falls First Nations High School is a private school operated by the Northern Nishnawbe Education Council under the direction of the Sioux Lookout Area Chiefs and First Nation communities.  Pelican Falls First Nations High School is a unique facility that is located on Pelican Lake in the traditional territory of Lac Seul First Nation and within the Municipality of Sioux Lookout, Ontario.       MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSSpecial consideration given to candidates with Intermediate/Senior; English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Technology qualification and/or experience, but not required. Member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT)Experience teaching First Nation students an assetComputer literacyA sensitivity to and understanding of First Nations culture and traditions Must be legally eligible to work in Canada  POSITION: Permanent/Full-time SALARY:  Based on QECO rating (Years 0 to 11) as follows:A1 - $54,280 - $89,063A2 - $56,513 - $95,029A3 - $60,967 - $102,973A4 - $63,862 - $109,533 All staff are compensated 13 weeks of vacation either with vacation days, monetary compensation or a combination of both  **NNEC thanks all applicants in advance; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.  NNEC requires a CRC and/or a Vulnerable Sector Check for all positions.   This advertisement is to fill current vacancies and will remain open until filled.   Please note that NNEC does not supply teacher housing or accommodation for staff.
