Summary This position is located at Child and Youth Services (CYS), Fort Campbell, KY. As an added employee incentive, the Department of Defense (DoD) granted approval to extend temporary limited commissary privileges (excluding the purchase of tobacco or alcohol products) to CYS employees. This temporary approval expires 31 December 2026.Major Duties: Has the oversight and responsibility for the operation, integration, coordination, and oversight of an installation Child and Youth Delivery System IAW all applicable regulations and standards. Ensures staff follow risk management procedures (i.e., abuse prevention, identification, and reporting procedures; accident prevention, etc.). Develops policies, procedures and SOPs to support program goals. Plans and supervises administration of the center-based system to include full day, part day preschool, before and after school age programs, hourly, special needs programs/services and summer camps for school age children. Establishes and oversees food service program for centers and quarters-based programs ensuring compliance with Army and USDA food program policies and procedures to include proper meal components and food service/preparation and storage. Recruits and hires qualified personnel utilizing Army CYS Standard Position Descriptions. Supervises staff assigned directly to the delivery system and evaluates employees based on established performance standards. Performs other duties as assigned.
